It’s mental health awareness month, so the special edition of Poolside Poets will be all about Big Feels. Join us for an evening of inspiring poetry, live music, and dance performances at the historic Phoenix Hotel. Brought to you by Decentered Arts, Rhea Joseph, Alex Miller, Liz Cahill, and friends.
Dress Code: Tactile Textures - wear something with a strong feeling. Fuzzy, fluffy, spikey, furry, smooth! Embody an emotion you are feeling or want to feel. This is a space to go all out with dress. We encourage you to shop your closet, DYI, upcycle, thrift borrow.
Doors 6:30 - 7:30 - come hang and get situated with a themed cocktial/mocktial.
Show 7:30 - 9:00 - Featuring a rockstar lineup of poets and surprise guests.
9:00 - Mingle and listen to tunes
